Can I edit directly in the page text?

Yes, there are two options for doing this:

1. Use the Enable Highlightning tool to highlight the text you want and it will copy it to a Sticky Note where you can make changes. See more here.
2. Use Direct InDesign Corrections to edit directly into the original InDesign document. Note that this feature is only available in the Platinum version. See more here.
